KolaVid in Claude

Make whiteboard videos in Claude

Connect KolaVid to Claude once, then ask for a video in any chat. Claude sends KolaVid your topic, notes or link, KolaVid makes a narrated whiteboard explainer video in your account, and Claude gives you the link when it's ready, usually in 2 to 4 minutes.

Add KolaVid to Claude

  1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the Claude desktop app) and go to Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it KolaVid and paste this server URL:
    https://kolavid.com/mcp
    Continue, leave the sign-in settings as Claude detects them, and click Add.
  4. Click Connect. KolaVid's sign-in page opens: sign in, or create a free account, then click Allow.
  5. Back in Claude, ask for a video. Claude asks before it uses KolaVid; you can choose to always allow the read-only steps.

If you don't see Add custom connector, your Claude plan or your organization's settings may not allow custom connectors yet. The same server also works in Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http kolavid https://kolavid.com/mcp

What Claude can do with KolaVid

  • Make a whiteboard video from a topic, a text or a web page, 1 to 5 minutes, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, narrated in many languages.
  • Check a video: its progress while it's being made, then a download link and a link to watch, edit or share it.
  • List your recent videos.
  • Show your credit balance and plan.

Claude can't delete, publish or share your videos, and it never sees your password. Videos use your KolaVid credits, the same as videos you make on kolavid.com, and appear in your KolaVid library.

Disconnect

Remove KolaVid in Claude under Customize, Connectors, or disconnect Claude from KolaVid under Account, API keys, Connected apps. Either one ends Claude's access.
